Private Residence in Blackberry Farm
Johnson & Galyon was selected for this fantastic custom home positioned at the foothills of Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Walland, TN. The exterior includes dry stack field stone, cedar shake roof and both cypress and reclaimed siding. The interior includes 7 fireplaces, a pizza oven, reclaimed barn wood siding and flooring throughout the home. The living room’s reclaimed timber is beautiful, but also structurally sound. A guest room is located off the main living space and has its own access from the driveway. The Johnson & Galyon Homes team worked seamlessly with the owner and designer to meet budget, schedule and quality demands on the home.
My wife and I were struck by the level of quality, attention to detail and the craftsmanship Johnson & Galyon’s team displayed throughout the construction of our home. The uniqueness of the materials used during construction, such as the reclaimed wood and stone required highly skilled tradesmen and Johnson & Galyon came through for us.
