Just five months after being called upon by a local Knoxville woman to transform her quaint cottage on the hills of the Tennessee River, Johnson & Galyon has recently completed the total renovation project, resulting in another satisfied client.
The private residence, located on Kingston Pike near the University of Tennessee’s sorority row, required a great deal of work when Johnson & Galyon was called on initially to facilitate the transformation. The activities that followed centered on “making the home feel bigger” and included tearing down structural walls, re-designing the kitchen, replacing the floors, renovating the master bath and creating a sitting room with a fireplace off the main living area of the house.
This is the type of Homes project we love to perform and have become so good at over the last century. Our satisfaction comes from the proud homeowner, who has already started hosting social gatherings and parties to show off her new, open dwelling.
